Also, you may be interested in asking questions at council meetings. You don’t even have to be physically present. You can email your question to; PQT@darebin.vic.gov.au and sit at home and watch it answered on the live feed, review the answer on the archived feed or read the answer in the minutes of the meeting. It is an excellent way to bring issues to the attention of both Councilors and Council Officers and seems to provide a faster reply.
Answers to your questions help provide greater transparency of and put on the record council operations.
